The Office will be closed on Monday, September 6 in observance of Labor Day.
We will be going back to our normal fall hours and be open on Friday, and returning to Monday through Friday schedule on September 13th.  Please remember that all bulletin announcements must be in to the church office no later than 9 a.m. on Thursday mornings.

Visitors: We are glad that you have joined us in Worship this morning.  It is our hope that you find both a warm welcome and meaningful worship here at Trinity.  Please feel free to join us in all of our activities.

We would ask that you fill out a visitor card (they can be found in the book racks in the pews,) and then drop it into the offering plate so that we may acknowledge your presence by sending you a welcome letter or answering any of your questions.

Child Care Services

A nursery is provided at both the 9:50 and 11:00 a.m. Worship Services.  The room is located downstairs in the Fellowship Hall.

Activity bags and children’s bulletins can be found in the narthex.

The Crying Room is also available and can be found in the back of the narthex next to the AV room.  Parents with small children that may be a bit active or fidgety are invited to use the room if needed.  (You can see and hear the worship services while using the crying room!)  If you need assistance, an usher will be glad to help.

Hearing Impaired: If you find it difficult to hear during the worship service, ear phones for the hearing impaired are available.  Please ask an usher for assistance.  They will be glad to get the hearing device for you and show you how to use it.  Also, Interpreting will be available for the deaf community at the 9:50 a.m. service.

Fill out a prayer Card!  If you wish, prayer cards can be found on the table in the narthex or the book racks in the pews in the Sanctuary.  Fill one out and place it in the box in the narthex.  All requests are prayed for during the 11:00 a.m. worship service by our Prayer partners from the congregation.

Are you looking for a simple way to meet more of the Trinity family Would you like to lend a helping hand without a big commitment?  Then greeting is the place for you!  We're looking for some more people to shake hands, say a friendly hello & hand out bulletins on Sunday mornings before each of the services.  It's a short commitment (30 minutes every 3-4 months).  There's nothing to memorize, read, count or teach.  Just arrive 30 minutes before the service you normally attend.  When the service starts, your job ends!  If you'd like to be included in the fall schedule, please sign up to be a Greeter in the narthex by September 19th.  If you have any questions about greeting, you can ask the greeter this morning or call Susan Morgan 881-0053.

Men’s Breakfast: The Men’s Breakfast will begin again on Saturday, September 11, 2010 in the Fellowship Hall at the Church from 7:30 - 8:30 a.m.  All men are welcome... bring a friend and come out and enjoy the food and fellowship.

The Trinity Handbell Choir will begin their next year of ringing with a meeting of all ringers (and potential ringers) on Wednesday September 22nd at 7:00 p.m. in the church basement.  We will not have a practice that evening, but instead will distribute copies of the music we will ring in November and December, and will discuss plans for ringing during the upcoming year.  Since several members of the bell choir “retired” at the end of spring, we have bells available for anyone who is interested in ringing.  Playing with only “most” of the bells ringing is like trying to play a piano with only a partial keyboard.  The music just does not work.  If you can read music and can dedicate about an hour a week to practice, I’d love to hear from you!  Reading music is not even essential, as my husband does not read music, but has managed to play with the handbell choir since its inception.  What’s important is the desire to play to God’s glory and the dedication to come to practice each week, plus learning how to set up and break down for each performance.  The handbell choir typically plays one Sunday a month, on the 3rd Sunday, at the 8:30 and 11:00 a.m. traditional services.  We may have to adjust for Christmas and Easter services.  If you have the desire to play the handbells, or even give it a try, please come out and meet the handbell choir and its director.  Looking forward to seeing you on September 22nd.

Children's Ministry Workshop- On Saturday, October 2nd, we will be hosting a Children's Ministry Workshop presented by GROUP ministries.  There are 3 workshops scheduled, plus lunch.  We will begin at 9 a.m. and finish by 1:30 p.m.  This workshop costs $15 for Trinity folk... $25 for others.  Find more information and the registration for this worship in the narthex.

Trinity 5K Run/Walk will once again be held on Saturday, October 10th, 2010 and will be benefitting Local Food Banks.  Registration will begin at 8:00 a.m. and the race will start at Trinity at 8:30 a.m.  The cost of the race is $10.00 per person plus a canned food donation.  All participants will receive a free T-Shirt, and a continental breakfast in the Church Fellowship Hall will immediately follow the Race.  It’s Fun!  It’s Exercise!  And it will help in supplying and purchasing food for our local food banks!  Registration forms can be found in the narthex and in the book rack across from the church office.

Our Stephen Ministers Are Ready to Care for You!  Stephen Ministers are members of Trinity who have been through extensive training and provide confidential, one-to-one, Christian care to people who are experiencing a difficult time.  They will listen, care, encourage, pray with and for you, and provide weekly support for you as long as your need persists.  If you or someone you know is hurting, find out more about Stephen Ministry by talking with one of our Stephen Leaders:  Kay Hannigan, Cheryl Muller, Steve Weikel or Pastor Paul.  Our Stephen Ministers are ready to bring God's love and care into your life.

Want to have “A Grand New Day?”  Then come join fellow church members and friends at the 2010 Women of Faith Conference held this year on September 10th & 11th at the Philadelphia Wachovia Center.  Tickets are $89.00 which includes seating and a box lunch on both days.  Please contact Sue Salber at slsalber@msn.com or call her at 609-634-4574 to secure a ticket.  A $45.00 (non-refundable) deposit will hold your ticket and the balance will be due on or before the weekend of the conference.  Come join us for a remarkable Women of Faith Weekend.  This 2 day event will make you laugh, cry, and realize that you are not alone.  Heartfelt, hilarious messages, gripping drama, and amazing music will make it a weekend you won’t forget!

Adult Sunday School:  The Bait of Satan: come join us for a 14 week book study starting September 12th at 9:45 a.m. in the cafe.  Author John Revere takes us through this riveting look at how Satan manipulates our thoughts.  Join us as we learn how to think before we act.

Adult Sunday School Class:  Everything is Spiritual:  In the Hebrew Scriptures there is no word for “spiritual.”  And Jesus never used the phrase “spiritual life.”  Why?  Because for Jesus and his tradition, all of life is spiritual.  But what does that really mean?  Come and join us starting on September 12th at 11:00 a.m.

Come experience the many benefits of yoga!  Begin right where you are with the gentle stretches and flowing yoga postures using a chair as an aid for balance and stability.  Yoga classes will be held on Fridays 10:00-11:00 a.m.  The six-week series begins on September 10th and runs through October 15th.  Cost is $30 which includes a donation to Trinity Church.  For more information and to register call Jeanne Nickelson 856-464-2267.

Let those old instruments make a joyful noise...  Ike Flitcraft, a senior at St. Augustine Prep, is working on his senior year service project.  He is collecting old instruments and will be getting them in working order and providing them to school kids in Camden who would not otherwise be able to take lessons or learn an instrument.  Remember those old flutes, trumpets, and clarinets you bought for your kids to take lessons that are now sitting in the attic or a closet collecting dust?  Please contact Ike (who's in the Praise Band) or call him at 609-501-4993 to arrange pick up/drop off.

Bill & Kathy Trauger would like to thank you for the flowers you sent and for the meal you sent to us after the birth of our daughter. It was very kind of you and appreciated more than you know.

COLLEGE STUDENT ADDRESSES!  If you have a child in college please give us their name, address, and e-mail so that we might send them a care package in October as well as encouraging notes or upcoming events throughout the year.  Please add their name to the college list found on the bulletin board in the narthex.

Trinity 5K Run/Walk will once again be held on Saturday, October 9th, 2010 and will be benefiting Local Food Banks. Registration forms can be found in the narthex or in the rack on the wall across from the church office.

TCI- Fall 2010 - This fall our Trinity Christian Institute class will be on Bible Study and Interpretation.  It will be an 8 week class on Wednesday Nights at 7:00 p.m. from September 29 thru November 17th.  Come learn how to study the Bible and different ways people interpret the Bible.  The aim of the class is for you to feel more comfortable and confident reading and understanding God’s written Word to us!  Please sign up in the Narthex.  The cost is $20 and includes the books!

Fall Festival - Mark your calendars, on Saturday, October 16th, we will again have a Fall Music Festival.  The Concert begins at 7 p.m. and will include musical groups from our church.  Prior to the concert, we will have a Pasta Dinner at 6:00 p.m. in Fellowship Hall.  Proceeds from the evening will further our missions here at Trinity.  Tickets for the Dinner will go on sale on Sunday, September 19th.  Come enjoy some good food and great music!!!

A great big thank you to the congregation for supporting the Kids Alley Back to School Blitz.  We collected 30 back packs - loaded with school supplies - and many bags of various school supplies.  Every child involved in the program (about 250 kids) received a back pack and supplies.  Your generosity means that they will have what they need to start school on a positive note this year.  Educational success is a big part of this ministry and your support is greatly appreciated!

WELCOME BACK SUNDAY IS SEPTEMBER 12!  Join us as we begin to get back into our Fall schedule of activities and programs.  Sunday School classes will begin for toddlers – 6th grade at 9:45, along with several adult classes.  At 11:00 a.m. the Jr. High and Sr. High classes along with an adult class.  Throughout the morning in the narthex will be some coffee and donuts to enjoy while you catch up from the summer.

LET YOUR VOICES RISE!  COME JOIN US IN ONE OF OUR CHOIRS!

If you attend the 9:45 Worship Service and your child would like to sing in a choir, please know that they can join the choirs and are dismissed after they sing early in the 11:00 a.m. service.  The Cherub choir sings on the 1st & 3rd Sundays of the month and the Junior Choir on the 2nd & 4th.

To all men who sing like Pavarotti in the shower, especially you tenors, how about giving our men's chorus a try?  We will be singing on several Sundays throughout the year and at Christmas as well.  Our first rehearsal will be on Saturday, October 9 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.  For more information, contact Paul Murdaco at 478-0246.

YOUTH GROUP KICKOFF WITH A SPLASH AND PIZZA! - Plan to get wet and enjoy the pizza next Sunday, September 12th as we start a new year of youth groups.  Come hear some of the plans we have for the year and bring a friend.

Thirsty Thursdays - will resume in October.  On Thursday nights here at Trinity, we have a catered meal during the fall and spring.  This fall, it will begin on October 7th. Dinner is at 6 p.m.  The cost is $6 for adults and $4 for kids.  It’s a perfect way to have dinner, make some new friends and then be here for Choir practices and Bible Studies that happen on Thursday!  Remember, we ask you to sign up for dinner in the narthex each week so we know how many to plan for!

Upper Room and Daily Bread Devotionals for September can be found in the narthex and also on the wall rack directly across from the church office.  There are several Large Print copies of the Upper Room available.  For Young Teens, Devo Magazine, is available and can be found in the rack also.
