Boy Scouts of AmericaIt is the mission of the Boy Scouts of America and Troop 44 to serve others by helping to instill values in young people and, in other ways, to prepare them to make ethical choices throughout their lifetime in achieving their full potential.
BSA Troop 44 Troop 44 is based in Mullica Hill, NJ and is chartered by St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church. Our second home is Trinity United Methodist church.
Troop Meetings Troop meetings our regularly held every Thursday at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church on Main St. Mullica Hill from 7PM to 8:30PM. Double check before coming, we may be away that evening for an outing. Patrol meetings are held periodically by the individual patrols.
Weekend CampingTroop 44 plans a weekend camping trip every month. Trips normally leave on Friday afternoon and return on Sunday morning. The troop provides the camping gear (tents, stoves, cooking equipment). The scouts bring their own personal gear such as a sleeping bag and mess kit. Cooking style changes per camping adventure.
Summer CampEach year during July Troop 44 spends a week at summer camp. We rotate each between attending several camps. Camp Roosevelt is our home Summer Camp. Southern New Jersey CouncilTroop 44 falls under the Old Colony District of the Southern New Jersey Council.
